One Give Away; Two Burda Magazines

I forgot to put up a March Burda Magazine give away. The truth is March just flew by for me...I had dental surgery, a week at the Ministry of Education and a whole bunch of grading to do on top of the regular day-to-day I am combining this month's give away with last month's give away.

Two Burda is the August 1979 issue and the other is the April 1982 issue. This draw is for both.

I'll mail them anywhere in the world, all you have to do to enter is be a follower of this blog and leave a comment below. Draw on April 20th. Good luck everyone!

A Big List of Canadian Sewing Blogs And Growing

I know there are lists of sewing blogs out there, and even a map or two of sewing enthusiasts, but I have nonetheless, created my own list and I hope it grows. If you know of a Cdn blog that isn't listed - a blog whose primary purpose is sewing rather than quilting or other crafts - please let me know in the comments and I will edit this list.

Updated - March 2014, with a big thanks to Rose!

February Burda Challenge Completed

These are sweat pants from the March 2014 issue that I made into pjs using fabric from my stash. I removed the cuffs and shortened the legs and miscalculated. So I have to add a cuff back in - in a different fabric. Also I omitted the pockets. Here is the link to these (I plan to make the cardigan on this page too).

I used a shirting cotton - I only had a little over a metre so I really had to 'measure twice and cut once'

I added these cuffs - from an old sheet that I have since used a muslin but luckily I had a little left over to add length to these pjs

Ta -da! February Burda Challenge Completed.
